Battlefield 6 – 12v12 ESB Conquest Small

ESB rules are developed in collaboration with some of the top Battlefield teams active in our events. With Battlefield 6 changing frequently, we’ll keep our rules updated to reflect any changes.

IMPORTANT: Please note that this ruleset is still work-in-progress. There will likely be changes to it over the coming months as we start testing it on a larger scale. Don’t forget to provide your feedback through our Discord and to check the changelog regularly to see what has changed.

CHANGELOG:

Version 1.20 – 03/01/2026

 

Game mode updates:

  • Legacy Conquest Scoring is back.
    • Teams only lose tickets if the opposing team holds the majority of the flags.
  • Fixed and Updated Flag Capture/Neutralization Times
    • Capturing and Neutralizing flags now work correctly.
    • Capture Timer reduced to 15s with one player on the flag
    • Neutralization Timer reduced to 20s with one player on the flag
    • Enabled Capture/Neutralization Timer reduction with multiple players on a flag.
      • Each additional player reduces the Capture/Neutralization timer.
      • Minimum Capture/Neutralization Timer: 5s
  • The ticket score has remained at 400 despite the change in the scoring system. We believe it should be reduced, but we’ll await feedback from the teams.
  • Iberian Offensive:
    • Updated certain OOB areas that didn’t show as being OOB.
    • Fixed a glitch that allowed teams to enter one of the team HQs.
  • Manhattan Bridge:
    • Made the rooftop next to the B flag OOB.

Extra notes:

  • We are currently working on a solution to prevent Air Vehicle spawn camping on maps like Operation Firestorm. More information soon.
  • We are aware of an issue with armored vehicle loadouts. Unfortunately, this is a Portal glitch beyond our control, and we are currently exploring workarounds.

 

 

Version 1.00 – 26/11/2025

The first version of our 12v12 ESB Conquest Small ruleset was released.

Game mode updates:

  • New 10-second timer to start the match
    • This will ensure every player has loaded into the game before each round begins.
  • New end-round recap screen
    • Provides an accurate recap of the round you just played.
  • Temporary workaround fix to the airspace issues for Firestorm. This should allow us to release more air maps soon.
  • Ticket Bleed Issue Fixed
  • New Experience codes, including one with all maps, so you don’t have to switch servers for Bo3 matches.

1.2 RESTRICTED ITEMS:

  • IFV – Lock-Guided Missile (MR MISSILE)

1.3 RESTRICTION PENALTIES:

  • If a team uses a RESTRICTED ITEM – Attachments, a 20 Ticket Penalty will be applied per kill made while the attachment is equipped.
    • (This means that getting a kill with a banned attachment equipped doesn’t cost your team the map)
  • If a team uses a RESTRICTED ITEM – Vehicle Weapons & Equipment, a 20 Ticket Penalty will be applied for each time the weapon is fired or the equipment is used.
  • Teams are required to report and provide proof of any rule infraction(s) at the end of the map in which the infraction occurred. Failure to do so can possibly void any penalty for the opposing team.

Note #1: There are no listed penalties for the items listed in Section 1.1 because these items are already banned inside the game in each Portal experience we created and, therefore, can’t be equipped/used.

3.0 Server Settings

3.1 SERVER HOSTING:

The player (and squad) creating the server will always be placed on the PAX side.

Joining individually will assign players in an ABABABAB order. If you are placed on the wrong team, please use the Team Switcher in your home base to switch to the other team.

The RESTART MAP and NEXT MAP features work correctly in Portal; please use them.

3.2 SERVER OVERVIEW:

Every server MUST be password-protected. We recommend that teams change their server passwords before every match to prevent people from keeping track of old passwords and joining as possible players.

The game will then ask you to provide:

Once you have entered the above information, press “HOST.” Do not press “HOST LOCALLY”.

Note: The server region is usually based on the location of the player hosting the server. When server quotas are full in a specific region, it will host the server in another region.

3.5 AIM ASSIST OPTIONS

In Battlefield 6 there are 2 Aim Assist options in Portal:

  • Aim Assist (former Slow-Down):
    • Choose whether Infantry Weapon Aim slows when the reticle sticks over an enemy target.
  • Aim Assist Zoom Snap (former Auto-Rotation):
    • Adjust how much Infantry Weapon Zoom snaps to a nearby target.

Currently, the Aim Assist option is turned ON in all our events and experience codes, and the Aim Assist Zoom Snap is turned OFF. This aligns with how the base multiplayer experience works.


4.0 Scoring

4.1 CONQUEST SMALL:

Each Map is composed of two rounds (sides). Scoring is based on the overall tickets. The team with the most tickets left at the end of both rounds wins the map.

EST OF 1 (BO1):

  • One map is played (2 sides)
  • The team that wins the map wins.

BEST OF 3 (BO3):

  • Three different maps are played (6 total sides)
  • The team that wins 2 maps first wins.

5.0 Game Mode Settings

  • Flags: 3-5
  • Tickets: 400
  • Round Timer: 20 minutes
  • Home Spawns: 4 per team (random spawn order)
  • Flag Spawns: 5 per team on each flag (random spawn order)
    • Each team has five unique spawns on each flag.
  • Capture Timer: 25s
  • Neutralization Timer: 20s
  • Vehicle Respawn Timers: Currently, vehicles are set to respawn after 2 minutes (120s) and jeeps after 1 min (60s).

6.0 Vehicle Balance

Below is the list of vehicles on each map. Each team also has 2 jeeps in their spawn on every vehicle map.

Medium Maps:

  • Siege of Cairo

  • Iberian Offensive
    • 1 IFV
  • Liberation Peak
    • 1 FTR Jet – 1 ATK Heli – 1 MBT

    • 8v8: 1 MBT
  • New Sobek City
    • 1 MBT

Large Maps:

  • Operation Firestorm
    • 12v12: 1 ATK Jet – 1 FTR Jet – 1 ATK Heli – 2 MBTs
    • 8v8: 1 FTR Jet – 1 ATK Heli – 1 MBTs
  • Mirak Valley
    • 12v12: 1 ATK Jet – 1 FTR Jet – 1 ATK Heli – 1 MBT – 1 IFV
    • 8v8: 1 FTR Jet – 1 ATK Heli – 1 MBTs
